At the age of 17 in 2011 Coty did not act like old. Our vet always said he was senior and was getting senior screening since December when he was 8 years old.
Exercise Routine Of Coty✨
Coty was a very active puppy. He did all things according to the schedule. He always had a walk when we got up.
His second exercise was when we got home from work and the third walk was before going to bed. We lived in Florida from his birth to 2004 so its walk was in flat terrain.
We moved to California in December of 2004 and his walk started on the mountain terrain.
In November 2011 we moved to North Carolina his exercise continued until his right leg broke in September 2012. He was 18 years old at that time, he was on an evening walk and his foot was stuck in a hole.
Since then he has gone for a walk 3 times a day. But his walk was very slow and short.
Coty’s Favorite Snack🌻
Coty has had pancreatitis in 2001 from that time he is on restricted diet. Since then he has taken Hill’s Science Diet , intestinal diet.
As he got older I fed him all the natural treats, which are low in calories and healthy for him like blueberries, baby carrots etc.
He has been receiving Glucosamine supplements for the last 5 years. After that I switched him on a powder supplement which I used to mix in his food.

Coty always slept with us on our bed until last year. When he lost most of his eyesight in 2013 he decided to sleep in the bathroom on the tile floor. Coty slept about 20 hours on his 21st birthday.
